The common challenge involves proposing various collaboration ideas and technologies that can be offered through Samsung Financial’ s integrated app, “Monimo.”
The open-topic challenge allows startups to freely propose innovative ideas and solutions using their own technologies and services beyond the 16 specialized challenges and the common challenges provided by financial companies.
Finalist Selection: KRW 30 million in funding (4 companies per financial company, 16 companies in total)
Final Selection: Additional KRW 10 million in funding (1 company per financial company, 4 companies in total)

They collaborate with financial companies' business departments during the solution and business model development stage to receive feedback and work together.
For finalist and selected companies, support will be provided for business commercialization, investment review through strategic funds, and further collaboration on follow-up projects.
The results will be announced in mid-May via a notice on the website and an email sent to the address provided during application.

Finalists are selected through document screening and presentation evaluation:
ㅇ Document Screening: Each financial affiliate evaluates applications based on its own selection criteria to shortlist candidates.
ㅇ Presentation Evaluation: Companies that pass the document screening will proceed to this stage, where their technology, originality, and commitment to collaboration will be assessed.

ㅇ Does the company's service or technology effectively address the challenge?
ㅇ Does the proposal include a concrete idea for solving the challenge?
ㅇ Can the company actively collaborate with financial companies for solution development?

The final presentation is scheduled to take place in late October at the Samsung Financial Campus in Seocho, Seoul.

If selected as a finalist, your company will be matched with the relevant business department of a financial company to conduct a 4-month Proof of Concept (PoC).
During the PoC period, necessary support can be provided through discussions.
The final presentation in late October will focus on PoC deliverables and future collaboration plans with the financial company.
Detailed guidance will be provided to finalist companies after selection.
After the final presentation, selected companies may receive support for further business collaboration, strategic investment reviews, and networking opportunities with affiliates.
For finalist companies, data access will be considered and provided through discussions.
Yes, if there are clear differences in implementation, they will be considered distinct proposals and reviewed accordingly. However, if the proposal is substantially similar or identical to an existing one, its eligibility for evaluation will be determined based on factors such as intellectual property rights, proposal specificity, and submission date.
